MEET SARYTA COLBERT

Saryta’s heart is full of a passion that flows out to many different areas. She has courageously braved the role of a stay-at-home mom for over 10 years and is forever willing and excited to share her everyday life experiences to help other moms and wives conquer challenges that arise out of family life. In this season of life, she serves as the Children’s Ministry Director at Faith Christian Center in Phoenix, AZ where she oversees over 150 kids and 50+ volunteers. She believes her family defines her Jerusalem (Matthew 28:19). She strongly believes that setting realistic goals and expectations is key and necessary to keep the sting of disappointment and the trap of comparison at bay. She also has a deep affinity toward food, as she affectionately calls herself a “foodie” and received her degree in Culinary Arts in 2018.

Greg has been in ministry for over 25 years ranging from preaching/teaching to serving as a children’s, youth and young adult pastor, an associate pastor, as well as a worship leader. All of this led to the honor and privilege of founding/pastoring New Life Church, Pittsburg, California for four years. Over the years, Greg has had the opportunity to impart wisdom, insight, and awareness of the realities of the joys and complexities of the various relationships we all encounter throughout life. One of his most notable experiences was the opportunity to teach an accredited course entitled Family Matters at Gateway Christian College, Pittsburg, CA, where he also earned an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies. This experience further fueled his passion for connecting with and empowering God’s people into thriving relationships; married, family, and single alike.
