The Message

Relationship management is life management. We can't expect to get life right if we get relationships wrong. We spend the majority of our lives engaging in various relationships; Romantic, family, co-workers, bosses, neighbors, church and school. While we spend a vast amount of time in relationships, most of us have never been taught how to intelligently function within these types of relationships. This leaves us with a relational gap that exists between what we would like to experience in our relationships and what we are actually experiencing in our relationships.

reTHINK reLATIONSHIPS is Greg Colbert's contribution to help bridge that gap and help resource us with the necessary tools to experience relationships in a way that they become our greatest blessing and mutually satisfying for those we are in relationship with. You owe it to yourself and the people you will come in contact with, to evaluate your relational competence to see if the relationships you have always desired are just a mindset adjustment away. Welcome to the relationship revolution!

The Author

Greg Colbert has been in ministry for over 25 years. He preached his first sermon at the age of 9 years old. His ministry experience ranges from preaching/teaching to serving as a children’s, youth and young adult pastor, associate pastor, as well as a worship leader. All of this led to the honor and privilege of founding New Life Church, Pittsburg, California where he was the senior pastor for four years. Over the years, Greg has had the opportunity to impart wisdom, insight, and awareness of the realities of the joys and complexities of the various relationships we all encounter throughout life. One of his most notable experiences was the opportunity to teach an accredited course entitled Family Matters at Gateway Christian College, Pittsburg, CA. There he also earned an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies. This experience further fueled his passion for connecting with and empowering God’s people into thriving relationships. Soon after, he, and his wife Saryta, founded a relationships ministry called Decide To Thrive. D2T exists to raise the standard of relationships and equip singles, marriages and families to leave a thriving legacy. Greg and his wife have been married over 16 years and have four beautiful boys; Isaiah 22, Jeremiah 15, Elijah 14 and Josiah 12. They currently reside in Goodyear, Arizona and attend Faith Christian Center in Phoenix, AZ where they both are full time employees under the leadership of Pastors Sean and Erica Moore.
